I don't know if it could come from the script shield, but before resolving the problem with WMP11 becoming red, I uninstalled the script shield, and the videos on youtube buffered approximately like with AVAST 5 (so a little slow but not too slow). Now I installed again AVAST 6 (the build) and the videos on youtube seems to buffer a little slower than with AVAST 5. With AVAST 5 and AVAST 6 the speedtest test finds between 4.5 and 5.5 Mbps (depending on the day, the time.) but rarely faster. I checked the connection speed on firefox with KASPERSKY, I use, I had between 9 Mbps and 9.5 Mbps. That antivirus is very heavy but I had no problems with the videos on youtube and dailymotion, the videos buffered very fast even after 15 videos! I thought it was only a firefox problem but just after the AVAST 6 release, when I had the problem with WMP11 becoming red, I uninstalled AVAST and I installed the trial version of KASPERSKY Antivirus.

The problem happens after watching 2-3 videos.

With Firefox and AVAST (I had the problem with AVAST 5 too but with AVAST 6 the problem is worse ), the videos on Youtube and Dailymotion buffer slowly and the videos pause very quickly, then I must wait 10 seconds before they start again, then 10 seconds later they pause again. I would like to ask if there is a way to optimize AVAST with Firefox to let Youtube and Dailymotion work the best.
